A Melbourne Magician in the time of COVID

So, it's been a while since I have shared anything here on my news and blog... there have been a number of reasons for that and a lot of it has to do with the life and work circuit-breaker that the pandemic lockdowns caused here in Melbourne. For many people, the world over, there has been a perspective shift and either a re-focus or a questioning of the path and the paradigm of society to which we have been subscribing. I know that we are still well and truly in the grips of this pandemic and the end of it is a far horizon that we may or may not have glimpsed yet. However, the impact that the pandemic is having and will continue to have, has enormous consequences for every one, to greater or lesser degrees. The world we knew is not the same anymore and it is quite possible that it may never be ( ;... the chances are it probably will return to a semblance of what it was, just like life changed drastically and then continued similarly after the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918-19 ).

Personally, I have taken the time out to re-focus what it is I want to present with my magic and performance and I have been happy to take the time out to be with family and close friends. Certainly now, with the start of the new year, it feels right to begin sharing new perspectives and new offerings with magic and psychology and performance and so in the coming weeks I will be launching one of my new shows that is based on what I find the most interesting thing with magic & mentalism and that is the interface between neuroscience, psychology and magic and what we can learn about ourselves and humanity through this fascinating prism. So stay tuned for that. In the meantime, here below are some pretty pictures of performances that I count myself fortunate to have been able to perform over the past couple of months... more to come very soon... RV.
