Every 3 years, dozens of magicians from all over Europe gather to compete to compete for the title of European champion.This is a FISM event, which is unofficially the world governing body of magic; it is the most respected magic organisation in the world. FISM stands for Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques - ( the international federation of magic societies ). The winners in this competition will go on to compete in what can be said to be the Olympics of magic, to be held next year; FISM 2025. This year the European championship competition takes place in Saint-Vincent Italy, from the 23rd to the 26th of May 2024! And I’ll be there. I will be witnessing and participating in the convention that goes along with the competition, as there are lectures, workshops, gala shows, an amazing magic dealers hall and expo as well as parties, soirees and tours. So there is absolutely no doubt that I will receive a ton of magical inspiration and saturation to the point of overload.
I guess you could say I am more than a little excited at the prospect of this conference and what it has to offer.
